Q: What if I don't distinguish between two sounds?
A: This is not uncommon. There are many accents and dialects in the English language. This is where the catchphrase, A Game For All Talks Of Life, comes from. What makes a play pass or not is up to the group playing to decide. Physical and online dictionaries can be helpful as references.
Q: Where do the symbols for each sound come from?
A: Each symbol used in Sound Out is from the International Phonetic Alphabet(IPA). However, Sound Out is primarily a game of pronouncing words by referencing lexical sets(example words).
